The Old Fashioned is a combination of spirits, bitters, soda, and sugar. The first use of the name "Old Fashioned" for a Bourbon whiskey cocktail was said to have been at the Pendennis Club, a gentlemen's club founded in 1881 in Louisville, Kentucky. 

Ingredients

How to:

Bourbon
2 dashes of bitters
Cube of sugar
Orange Wedge
The Old Fashioned

 > Start with putting the cube of sugar in a glass
 > Added two dashes of bitters
 > Follow with a splash of soda water
 > Crush the sugar with a wooden mudder
 > Add a large ice cube and 2 oz of Bourbon
 > Garnish with an orange slice and cherry
