"tu chocolate is the first Venezuelan Chocolatier based in New York. Our handcrafted chocolates start with the most flavorful and aromatic cacao in the world, Venezuelan cacao. The famed cacao bean has been renowned for its complex flavor notes & intense chocolate taste. Our goal is to offer the opportunity for people to have the perfect chocolate experience by combining Venezuelan chocolate with a variety of all natural ingredients.
This idea goes back to our early memories, growing up in Venezuela meant enjoying Venezuelan chocolate with just about everything from nuts and fruits to herbs and spices.
After studying business and starting learning the chemistry & the art of working with chocolate; we got married and decided to pursue our lifelong love affair with chocolate together by starting our own chocolate company “tu chocolate”.
tu chocolate’s goal is to become the ambassador of Venezuelan chocolate all over the world.
73% Dark Chocolate - Smooth with earthy & toasty flavors. It’s a balance of pronounced bitterness with refreshing acidity, which lingers pleasantly on the palate. Our 73% Dark Chocolate has complex notes of fruit, flower, nut and spice.
41% Milk Chocolate - Well balanced with caramel &nuts flavors. Rich & creamy. Our 41% Milk Chocolate has a wonderful fruity aroma and notable fluid mouth feel.
White Chocolate - Pure and fragrant with a creamy milk taste. Delicate aroma with hits of vanilla & fruits.
The most indulging chocolate needs the greatest topping ingredients. We handcraft every bar to allow perfect flavor distribution. All our ingredients are 100% natural, no additives or artificial flavors.
Our list of ingredients features an assortment of nuts, dried fruits, seeds, spices and more! We buy in small batches to assure optimal flavor and texture. Our goal is to get our ingredients right from the source, to provide you with the freshest, highest quality ingredients available.
We want to participate and maintain a beneficial presence in our local and global communities, therefore we use sustainable resources and enviromentally-friendly packaging.
We use recyclable paper along with vegetable based inks. The plastic film is environmentally friendly too! Made from renewable plant resources, it’s 100% compostable. By adopting green practices “tu chocolate” minimize the impact on the environment, reducing the use and disposal of packaging.
